ABC News reported that New York Observer investigative reporter Ron Rosenbaum '68 and a group of Yale students caught the initiation of the 2001-2002 Skull and Bones members on tape April 14. The videotape, also aired on Fox News, catches alleged Skull and Bones initiates, called "neophytes," in the tomb's courtyard kissing skulls and acting out murder scenes. For a long time it was denied that Prescott Bush, George H W Bush and current U.S. President George W Bush are all 'old school' members of the Skull and Bones chapter 322. In recent years, the mainstream media has acknowledged this to be the case and photographs such as we see here (taken 1947) have become widely circulated, indeed a picture tells a thousand words. The ridiculously staged 2004 US Presidential elections brought much light to such facts, when both major running candidates (J.F. Kerry and G.W. Bush) were both Skull and Bones members, 'tapped' in the late sixties. Of course, now that we have the general acknowledgement of known members pervading top positions of U.S. politics, the inevitable spin is implanted that 'Oh, these are just silly men blowing off steam... it doesn't mean anything sinister".
