THE SERPENT

The symbol of the serpent could not be more esoteric and cannot be definitively covered here in this small section.

The brotherhood of the Illuminati seem to be obsessed with the serpent in their secret society networks, as has been the case for millennia’s.  Again there are many many esoteric reasons and backgrounds behind this.

In the ancient world (as is the case today), the Snake was certainly a creature to be feared.  Unlike other predatory animals such as the Lion (another brotherhood symbol) the personality of the serpent was a ‘sly little bugger’ not to be trusted.  By its very nature it was ‘the enemy within’ which could slither into a persons bed and kill them in their sleep at any time.

THE OUROBOROS: -

(Snake Biting its Tail)

The ouroboros to some represents infinity, the universe as a whole, whereas to other cultures (past and present) it is an evil satanic symbol representing Lucifer itself and ‘sin’.

Going off topic for a second, the logo of Vodafone also contains a '666' and in some variations such as we see here the Ouroboros is designed in such a way as to display a drop of blood...

...a symbol also popular with the KKK as we see their logo here.  The droplet of blood admittedly representing the 'Blood of the Brotherhood'.

I suppose that you can also see an Ouroboros in the KKK logo.

SYMBOLS IN HISTORY: -

Many of the sacred and historical monuments around the globe also carry the symbolism of the serpent as an evil deity figure.  In many cases, it was believed that mortal sacrifices would have to be made in order to appease such figures.

One example of such symbolism in ancient monuments is the Mayan pyramid 'El Castillo' (The Castle) in the Yucatan.  This was built in such a perfect way that twice yearly (on the Spring and Autumn equinox) when the sun is in a certain position, the light from the sun causes a momentary shadow which depicts a snake 'slithering' down the exterior of the pyramid (as depicted here).

It is said that this and other ritual human sacrifices that were performed at El Castillo were done in worship of Kukulkan, the Mayan God.

Look at the bugger on the right, is it just me or is there a similarity?
