"I
saw the program on Sunday. You could tell it was done by the BBC by
the way that they played down every single detail and blatantly lied all the
way through trying to cover it all up" Phillip
"They
didn't cover any of the solid arguments against the official story of 9/11,
they just focused on the weaker arguments that some have made" Marie
"Did
you see that program on BBC2 last night? I had never even thought
about an alternative to what we have been told about the September 11th
attacks. After last night I now think that it was probably an inside
job. Aren't some people evil, it doesn't bear thinking about"

"Do we know which version that was?? I reckon it was the whitewash. If it wasn't, I'd hate to see what the whitewash was like!!!"

"...watched the BBC sham of a documentary about 9/11 conspiracies. They have done the victims of the 9/11 tragedy a total disservice..."

"I
would thank the BBC for broadcasting a program that was so blatantly biased
that even more people will question the official version of events" Sue

OUR
COMPLAINT TO THE BBC - PROVIDED AS AN EXAMPLE: -
To whom it may concern
I would like to express my disappointment in the BBC for airing such a slanted
piece of what I can only call propaganda.
The program I refer to was the BBC2 piece The Conspiracy Files - 9/11.
Having seen some of your previous series regarding the backgrounds of the 'War on Terrorism' such as The Power of Nightmares (2004) I was, perhaps naively, hoping that this latest documentary would seek to cover some of the serious problems with the official story of 9/11. An issue that is currently being addressed by a vast percentage of the worlds population.
The 'independence' of the BBC coupled with the wealth of material on the subject should surely make such a task relatively easy, one might think?
At the same time, I appreciate that you aim to target the wider audience and that this is never as easy a task.
But having spoken to people in my social and professional circles I have yet to meet
anyone at all who was not rather offended by the clearly politically motivated theme of 'Second guess the official government story of 9/11 and you are a paranoid buffoon'... particularly when the evidence to back up this notion was clearly handpicked to favour the speaker of the message.
This is the basis of my complaint to the BBC.
It is unfortunate that we in the UK must pay the BBC
a monetary fee (via a 'middleman' - i.e. the VERY same government that expects us to go along with their invasion of the world and curtailment of our civil rights) for the freedom to own a television, only to be patronised and
craftily labeled as dangerous or mad by it.
I understand that there are many others who have contacted the BBC to state their feelings on the issue and would therefore like to add my name to the list of complainants.
If at any point in the near future the BBC would like to make an apology for their patronising and overtly politically biased narrative in the 'Conspiracy Files' program which aired on BBC2 last night, this would do a great deal to re-kindle my own faith in the company.
I thank
you for your time.
Despite some
'one to one' interest that we were able to generate with some staff
members, the response was less than enthusiastic. As far as I am
aware, our presence outside the headquarters was not covered by any of the
days reportage of the BBC, nor was any follow up report given.
It is
important to note that this was at the same time that the BBC was making
their 'well-balanced' documentary which will be airing in a 'prime-time'
slot on channel Two tonight. I would encourage the viewer to ask
'Why was this event not covered?'.
As was
stated by David Shayler in a speech to the demonstrators: "The BBC
has forgotten who pays their wages, it has also forgotten that it has a
duty to be impartial and to air subjects of public concern and public
interest."
This point
will be emphasised tonight. Amongst many of the people that I have
spoken to about tonight's broadcast, it is quite apparent that this is
going to be one of, if not the most scrutinised documentaries in
the history of the BBC.
