KEEPING UP A STATE OF FEAR (OF REPEATED ATTACKS): Tube cleared after minor blasts - Minor explosions using detonators only have sparked the evacuation of three Tube stations and the closure of three lines, a BBC correspondent has said.

POLICE STATE:  Blair re-think over phone taps - A CHANGE in the law to allow telephone tap evidence to be used in court to bring terrorists to justice was being discussed at an intelligence summit hosted by Tony Blair today.

ID CARD:  Panic in No 10 as ID card support collapses.  Tony Blair's hopes of bringing in a national system of identity cards were looking increasingly imperilled last night amid signs of collapsing public support and panic within the Government.  OUR COMMENT:  Yet when the time comes that they force this upon us, they will claim that their 'polls' show a majority of public support for the thing.  All about giving us a false sense of choice, as if our (the peoples) opinion counts.

DIANA MURDER: 'Diana was being watched by spies'. Late British royal DIANA, PRINCESS OF WALES was being watched by M16 spies in the days leading up to her death, according to her former bodyguard. OUR COMMENT: One point to bear in mind is that 'spies' within the intelligence community often covertly surveil members of the British Royal Family as standard practice, both electronically and in person. (It is often carried out by MI6/SIS on and off British soil with the assistance of GCHQ and the American NSA counterpart facilities). It has been known for many years, even in the mainstream press that this goes on, however these stories keep re-breaking as if we didn't already know, so that they can set up a straw-man argument to be later torn apart by a spin such as 'Yes but Diana was only being followed for her best interests. They had nothing to do with the crash'. Just keep watching the latest wave of 'Diana Murder Conspiracy' stories and you will see this happen... again!.
