• ERODING THE FREEDOM OF DISSENT: Complaint over heckler treatment - Labour conference organisers are facing complaints they were too heavy handed in throwing out an 82-year-old heckler.

• Order lifted on Dunblane papers - The Lord Advocate has lifted a 100-year restriction on documents relating to the Dunblane massacre inquiry.  Colin Boyd's decision to release information from the 1996 inquiry follows demands from victims' families.    (SEE OUR DUNBLANE ARCHIVE)

SEPTEMBER 27TH: -

• 9/11 Movement Becomes A Joke Live On BBC - OUR COMMENT: Last week, BBC's Question Time programme featured a comment from audience member David Boyle.  We do not know, nor do we have anything against Mr. Boyle, however we see this as a classic example of what not to do when speaking out about 911 when you are lucky enough to be given a platform by the mainstream media.  Stick to the facts, make your point or question clear and do not give the 'party-line pushers' an easy way out.  We lean towards the notion that Boyles actions did bring ridicule towards the 911 truth movement in the UK.  He certainly gave the host of the show an easy way out by raising a weaker argument (i.e. regarding the pod missile hypothesis) which at a mere glance can be pulled down like a straw man with a quick ‘soundbyte’ response.  Nevertheless, we respect the guy at least for his honour in speaking out against the bigger issue.  We certainly do not consider him to be a deliberate dis-information agent of any kind, as has been suggested elsewhere.  Flamesong.com’s forum thread provides the clip of the show and other posters thoughts.

SEPTEMBER 26TH: -

• Diana Enbalming to Hide Pregnancy - Late British royal DIANA, PRINCESS OF WALES was embalmed on the orders of British authorities to prevent tests which could have confirmed whether or not she was carrying her lover DODI FAYED's child, according to a new investigation. British newspaper the Daily Express today (26SEP05) claims a top official at the British embassy in Paris was informed just minutes after the Princess's death that embalming her body would be illegal. But the procedure went ahead.  (OUR COMMENTARY: It matters not, the outcome of any tests as to whether she was pregnant.  The point is that she was taken out at the time that she was, because IT WAS BELIEVED that she was pregnant with Dodi's child. This is confirmed to have been the case.  So it is a 'straw-man argument' to say: "...because some test says that she wasn't pregnant, this proves that she wasn't murdered for that reason".  We need to be aware of and argue this point if we are going to honour the truth surrounding Diana's assassination.

• INTRODUCING BIG BROTHER TO A NEW GENERATION OF SLAVES: Fingerprint id scheme in school: Pupils' fingerprints will be used to register and measure attendance at a primary school in Wiltshire. - (COMMENTARY: You've got to love the irony and hypocrisy in the second paragraph - "The school, which prefers not to be identified..." Un-believeable... but yet believable bizarrely enough!)

• Pensioner faces jail over council tax - A 73-year-old woman looks set to become the first woman to be jailed for refusing to pay her council tax. Retired social worker Sylvia Hardy, from Exeter, Devon, is due in court over debts of £53.71p. Miss Hardy said she was "terrified" by the thought of prison but vowed to carry out her protest because it was "the only way to get our voices heard".

• Big brother is watching for effluent violations - Farmers beware. Environment Waikato now has an "eye in the sky" to spot dairy farms polluting the region's waterways with effluent.

• Blair revelations reiterate elite occult obsession - This week's revelations in the London Independent about the obsessive "new age" activities of the Blairs reveal nothing new but serve to reiterate how our leaders are fascinated by "bizarre practices", odd ceremonies and rituals that any right minded person would find eerily occultist, certainly beyond the level an elected so called "Christian" leader should be engaging in.      (SEE OUR OWN RE-VAMPED 'OCCULT' SECTION)

• Call to end sex education opt-out - Parents cannot be relied on to teach their children about sex, the Liberal Democrat health spokesman has said.  Steve Webb said all children should receive sex education at school - and parents should not be allowed to stop them attending the lessons.

• I'LL BLOODY BET SHE DID!: Hillary calls for 9/11-type probe - WASHINGTON: Senator Hillary Clinton has urged President George W Bush to set up a “Katrina Commission” to probe the government’s response to the killer hurricane that has ravaged New Orleans and its surroundings, possibly killing thousands of people. In a letter sent to the president Sunday, the wife of former president Bill Clinton and much-rumoured presidential candidate, said the panel should be fashioned after the 9/11 Commission that investigated the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks on the United States.

• INVESTIGATION A FOREGONE CONCLUSION?: Bush to lead inquiry into Katrina - (Guilty as hell) George W Bush says he will lead an investigation into how the Hurricane Katrina disaster was handled.  (COMMENTARY: Once again we see the least appropriate person heading a serious investigation... will the American people take this laying down?

• ANALYSIS: New World Orleans, Microcosm for the "New America": Special report on the elite police state takeover - Imagine an America where everyone is displaced. It's survival of the fittest as all law and order has broken down. Martial law has been declared with 24 hr curfews, Posse Comitatus has been overturned and there are troops on the streets shooting anyone who disobeys their orders. Thousands and thousands of people are starving but the authorities will not allow aid in any significant amounts. Large crowds are quelled with the use of sonic lasers, whilst overhead drone aircraft monitor the area, checking for any anomalous activity.

• UK Channel 4 tonight... 21:00 - The Man Who Predicted 9/11: 'Revealing the extraordinary story of Cornishman Rick Rescorla, the security chief of Morgan Stanley who died a hero's death in the 9/11 attack. He always believed that the WTC would be targeted by terrorists using a plane as their weapon, and it is due to his foresight that 2,700 people in his company were saved.' - It'll possibly be a bit crap, or a strawman (with it being on one of the mainstream TV channels).

SEPTEMBER 04TH: -

• CRISIS IN NEW ORLEANS BEING ESCALATED BY THE GOV:  National Guard not allowing aid into the city - There are supplies sitting in Baton Rouge for the folks in New Orleans, but the National Guard has the city surrounded and is not letting anyone in or out. They are turning away people with supplies, claiming it is too dangerous. If we have planes that can drop bombs on people in Iraq, certainly we can air drop supplies into the city. Our government is KILLING the people of New Orleans. This is the message I am now sending to all major media sources, national and worldwide, as well as posting to email lists, blogs, etc. The story is getting out that the people there are not getting supplies, but the truth of WHY is not. Please help spread the word, we must get this story out. Please so not let any more of my friends die. I have recently managed to speak to some friends stranded in New Orleans. They are starving and dehydrating and there is no news of when they will be receiving food and water. I have spoken to relief efforts and understand that there are plenty of supplies waiting for these people, BUT THEY ARE NOT BEING ALLOWED INTO THE CITY.

"I just thought the connection between Geldof and the Labour Party was... just too tight, and I don't see that debt reduction is going to feed the babes down there. "Who is this gratifying and where were the Africans? Where was their say?"

• HURRICANE KATRINA:  Don't Give Your Hurricane Donations to the Red Cross: Establishment charities have history of withholding disaster funds - As the aftermath of hurricane Katrina continues to wreak mayhem and havoc amid reports of mass looting, shooting at rescue helicopters, rapes and murders, establishment media organs are promoting the Red Cross as a worthy organization to give donations to. The biggest website in the world, Yahoo.com, displays a Red Cross donation link prominently on its front page. Every time there is a major catastrophe the Red Cross and similar organizations like United Way are given all the media attention while other charities are left in the shadows. This is not to say that the vast majority of Red Cross workers are not decent people who simply want to help those in need. But what the media fails consistently to remember in their promotion of the organization is that the Red Cross have been caught time and time again withholding money in the wake of horrible disasters that require immediate release of funds.
