'DEAD LINKS': Sometimes we will be linking to external websites - such as a news report - and these links 'die', caused by the third party website either changing the web-address of the item, or by them removing it in its entirety.

An easy solution to this is for you to copy a portion of the text (which we commonly provide) and go to a search engine - such as google.com - and run a search on that piece of text.  Sometimes putting this piece of text in quotation marks can help.

More often than not this will lead you to an alternative source which holds the material that we originally linked to.

We always appreciate it when visitors inform us of 'dead links' as it helps to keep our archives as efficient as possible.
