UK ITV 'THIS MORNING' SHOW HIT PIECE  Air Date - 26/08/2005 Another piece from UK television, similar to the (slightly fairer) 'Richard and Judy' show clip - also available from us.  This time though the interview was somewhat more one sided, with no difficult questions posed to the interviewee who’s stance was that the truth about Diana’s murder is nothing but a hysterical ‘conspiracy theory’.

Without looking at the real issues of the murder, the ten minute hit piece was full of ‘categorical’ denials on the behalf of the official ‘party line’ and even more generalisations and naive rationalisations, which I am sad to say, the average viewer of this kind of ‘dumb the public down with celebrity gossip’ daytime TV show is prone to fall for.

Just one classic example that we see all the time in the case of investigating the Diana murder, is the point skipped over and spun by Mr Gregory - the classic ‘Was she pregnant?’ point.  The question ‘Would a corrupt intelligence service acting on behalf of the best interests of an equally corrupt and racist British Royal family have killed her if they believed that she was pregnant?’ might have been more pertinent.  This being the case.

And again we see the patronising rationalisation of “This always happens when someone with a high profile dies in an accident, the conspiracy theories emerge like Elvis and Marilyn Monroe.  The sheeple just can’t take it into their primitive little brains that such a person would die in an accident”.... Thanks for the vote of confidence mate!
