Ken Wharfe said he died
"tragically" in a road accident. "Of course I don't
think he was killed. There was no reason for him to be killed,"
said Mr Wharfe. The Princess also revealed that she had only met
Prince Charles 13 times before they got married.
She said sex with him stopped after Prince
Harry was born in 1984. Even before this, she said she and Charles would
only sleep with each other "once every three weeks".
She said: "There was (a sexual
relationship) but it was very odd. There was never a requirement for it from
his case.
"Sort of a once-every-three-weeks look
about it, and I kept thinking... and then I followed a pattern.
Diana put this down to his relationship
with Camilla Parker Bowles.
"He used to see his lady once every
three weeks. Before we got married."
The tapes were recorded in 1992 and 1993 by
Diana's voice coach Peter Settelen and broadcast on NBC in the US.
They were among 20 tapes seized by police
when officers raided the home of Diana's former butler Paul Burrell.
Mr Settelen claimed ownership of six and
insisted his aim in selling them was to give people a chance to see the real
Diana, not to "denigrate" her.
